avocado query

morning all,

I am having no luck trying to get a Reed avocado, if anyone
knows a nursery that stocks this variety and will send it to Melbourne
please let me know, thanx any help

I bought one from Daleys Fruit Nursery in Kyogle
(www.daleysfruit.com.au) back in September. Catch is, they do require
a minimum $100 order.

quite possibly you can't buy reed in melbourne because, like hass, they are
very sensitive to cold and you do have quite a bit of that in melbourne,
as i recall reed is, in my opinion, the absolute best tasting avocado, so
i understand you wanting to have a whole treefull but you may be
disappointed (reed also don't normally fruit every year) sorry to be
a wet blanket, but thems the facts
