i've an essay to write about the history of photosynthesis and how
everything about it was discovered and its implications etc. can anyone help

Are you asking for the evolution of the process of photosynthesis in
the primordal earth, or the more recent history of human understanding
of photosynthesis?

a history of the more recent (ca. 20th century) understanding of stuff like
the calvin cycle and kreb cycle and stuff.
