Bonsai Bamboo, yellowing leaves

Hello--

I picked up some Bonsai plants at the store last week. One of the plants is
a small bamboo collection in a small ceramic container. Some of the leaves
and one of the stalks starting to turn yellow. I fear I am under or over
watering the plant. Can anyone offer suggestions?

Are you talking about a real bamboo or the Dracaena sanderiana that is being
sold as "Lucky Bamboo"?

It is marketed as Lucky Bamboo.

You've been had.

Dracaena sanderiana comes from tropical Africa not the Orient, is not a
bamboo and has no mystical properties.

Although the website claims the plant needs nothing more than water and air
to do well, the addition of a few drops of liquid houseplant fertilizer to
the water will help the plant color up and grow well.
