Know any sources for amano shrimp in the DC metro area? Phone calls have
gotten "no" "what's that" or "we got ghost shrimp"

Try asking them to special order them for you. They are usually listed as
"algae-eating shrimp" on the stock lists.

Totally Fish carries them as 'Algae eating shrimp'. They don't always
have them - call before you go there. They're on Layhill Rd, off of
Georgia Ave in MD. Aquarium Center in Randallastown, MD carries
them all the time for $1.39 each usually. They also have many other kinds
of shrimp.

Are you a member of PVAS or GWAPA?

The Aquarium Center often calls them "Japonica shrimp"
