Plant Questions

Hi All:

I just bought some new plants for my aquarium ( which is actually a new
aquarium, since i'm new to the hobby) and i have to say i love the look over
fake.

My issue is that i'd like to know some of the do's and dont's of live
plant keeping, oh here's my setup:

20 gallon (freshwater) aquarium
40lbs of gravel
"hang on back" filter ( activated charcol)(good for up to
60gal)
Aquaglo (K 18,000/15w) 18"


I bought 3 different plants @ my LFS about 1wk ago and the've all seem
to have taken root, any comments and tips would be welcom.
