Hello,
Does anyone have some tips or a good protocol for extracting DNA from
Solanaceae seed?
Thanks,
David

Hi Dave,
I suggest you allow the seed to germinate in the dark, between wet paper
towels, and extricate the seedling from the seed after the cotyledons and
meristem emerge. Otherwise, you'll need to dissect the embryo out of the
seed under a dissecting scope.
