Q: Myrtle Crape shade of color

It appears that some Myrtle Crapes are brighter or more colorful than
others, even if they are of the same color. Some red MC's appear to be
deeper red than others. Some pink ones seem to be brighter pink than
others. Am I seeing things clearly, and there are indeed different shades
of colors? Can I control the shade of the color with watering, fertilizer,
etc.?
If so, how do I produce deeper/brighter colors?

Crape myrtles come in different named varieties. To get a different color,
you'll have to plant a different variety.

There are at least 100 named varieties of crape mirtles out there... :)

I think I failed to make my point/question clear.
I know about different varieties that produce different colors.
I have several varieties - red, pink, and white.
Is it possible to make red flowers bloom even redder?
Pink flowers even brighter pink?
Or is it impossible to control/change the shade of a given color?
It seems like some red MC's in my neighborhood bloom redder than others.
Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Iron and sulphur effect the colors of my CM blooms. In my soil, iron adds
depth to color of my CM's.
