Default Hollyhocks Leaves Look Like Lace Doilies!

My hollyhock leaves are being eaten by something. The leaves don't
have big chunks taken out the edges, but instead, the leaves are eaten
from the inside out, making the leaf look like lace doilies. Any idea
what insect I'm combatting here?

Thanks Sue! Following your advice, I also found out what was going on
with some of my other Hollyhocks, namely Rust! (I didn't realize
Hollyhocks were so problematic to grow!)

I appreciate your input.
