Hello!

A question in de.rec.garten
Location of the tree: Palermo, Sicily, Italy
Could someone please confirm that this is a Ceiba chodatii?

Thank you for your interest, David. But this site is already starting
point of the search. It would be interesting to get information about
the species that have not yet been described on the Wikipedia pages, ie
about those that are still red in the species list or about hybrids,
such as those from California:

To 99%, however, you are right in my opinion that it should be Ceiba
chodatii.
