I don`t know but I have been using almost everything. I`m using orchid clay
pots, plastic basket, old plastic container ( I poke some hole in them ),
styrofoam cup etc...

Thanks- I´m going to try this medium. I also just bought Oncidium
Sharry Baby, which I´ll try to plant in hydroton instead of my usual
Green/Mix(Perlite+rockwool mix). Which orchids do you have in
hydroton?
