Default wood pile

Hello all,
I am a new person to this list and as such beg your pardon for addressing
this issue of placing wood against the side of ones home. The wood has been
setting out on the ground and if I am not mistaken has undoubtedly begun to
decompose and insects may have set up house in the bark. Placing it against
the house will allow for these insects and other organisms to pass into your
houses structure and possibly cause damage. Smitty
