Default Elodia

Hello, Last year I placed some elodia plants in my pond they were
approx 2 feet (give or take) this year I noticed I have strands
around 4ft or so. My question is how do you trim them? can I just
cut them or is there a technique to it.
Thank you

I pinch off the old raggedy looking ends. I leave the young healthy 2'
or so. It thrives in hard water and grows like a weed. Fish and frogs
love laying eggs in it's strands.
