I bought a wisteria plant at a nursery in the summer of 2001. The gal who
sold it to me said it would never bloom, it was the non-blooming variety.
Imagine my surprise when it popped out with gorgeous purple blooms all over
the side of my house this spring. Not many leaves on it yet, just blooms.

By the way, there is a whole cove of these purple blooms on the west side of
183 just above Anderson Mill. There is a grove of trees around a small body
of water just off 183 and it is covered with these purple blooms. Worth a
trip to way north Austin just to see it.
