Over wintering onions
Can anyone give me s ome advice about over wintering onions?
Variety, time to plant, general information. Thanks, Peter -- He spoke with a certain what-is-it in his voice, and I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. P.G. Wodehouse 1881 -1975 |

Over wintering onions

James writes Can anyone give me s ome advice about over wintering onions? Variety, time to plant, general information. Thanks, Peter I suggest you should try growing Senshyu and/or Radar from sets rather than seeds. Plant in mid/late autumn. As always, Google is your friend. You'll probably find all you need in the following link; http://www.gardenersworld.com/how-to...s-winter-grow/ -- Gopher .... I know my place! |

Over wintering onions
"Peter James" wrote Can anyone give me s ome advice about over wintering onions? Yes, don't bother. They crop about two weeks before normal onions, don't store well, and you lose some over winter anyway. -- Regards Bob Hobden W.of London. UK |
