You probably won't know the answer to this, but why has your message
got a little bit of text on the bottom saying

-PAXP-deijE.gif
1x1 / 45 bytes

Also, using Forte reader your message is flagged in orange. Your posts
don't usually show these 'extras'. Have you tried to attach something,
like an image? I'm just curious. Perhaps someone will know the answer,
even if you have no knowledge of it.

It's because she has sent the message as MIME (email) format instead
of the usual plain text for URG. I'm sure that was a one-off slip.

Well that is a bit more sensible than Kew. When we went for a walk around
just after the orchid festival they were dismantling the displays and the
orchids were in a pile outside the glasshouse in the freezing weather. I
asked a gardener and he said they were all destined to be composted although
the expensive Vandas would be sent back to the nursery. So thousands of
Phalaenopsis were just thrown onto the compost heap when Kew are always
asking for money donations. Is it just me?
They could sell them off at a couple of pounds each and at least recoup some
of the outlay.

No, I simply copied and pasted the url but can't remember where I saw
it now. Facebook or Twitter, perhaps?

I'm surprised that happened because I get asked by Unison if I want to
send links in plain or rich text and I always select plain. I don't
think it will send otherwise.

Absolutely right! What a shocking waste. And today we were looking at
the RHS plant catalogue and nearly fainted at some prices. Perennials
in 9cm pots at £7.99!! How on earth anyone can charge that for a baby
plant I do not know. A bit more 'housekeeping' would definitely be a
good idea!

There was a very small gif of that name attached - consisting of three
white dots on a blue background.

Not sure how it came to get attached, but that is why it became a
non-text inclusion to the post.

If you have the option to 'view raw text' you would see (amongst other
stuff describing the text content):

Yes, I had a look at that too and was also struck by the prices. Bought some
Tomato seed last week £3.99 a packet for 6 seeds, luckily all 6 have
germinated.

It doesn't cause any harm, but with a text reader such as most of us
use it can look rather strange. Because URG doesn't accept pictures
and attachments, MIME format is unnecessary and just increases file
sizes. That's a disadvantage if you are on a mobile service with a
data cap.

What variety were they?
We pay a lot for our Rosada (f1), but not generally that much.
We do like them, though!

Losetto is the variety, a new blight resistant cherry type.
