Default Aspargus and Rabbits

Here on the 'Growing plot' in Lincolnshire, we are starting to plan
the vegetable beds, I was wondering if we could use one as an Aspargus
bed, one possible problem are the local bunnies, now we are planning a
fence around some of the beds, but do we need to fence the Aspargus?

Thanks
