Iris' - do I cut them back now?
Hi,
We have moved to a house with a very nice garden. I am learning quickly but no gardening expert so I need help please. We have lots of Iris' which were flowering very nicely until about 1 week ago now the flowers are fading rapidly but also about half of the long green thin leaves that are left have started to sag over. Some are falling onto, and covering, other plants. Do I cut them back or do I dig the sagging ones up? Also are they supposed to do this? Thanks in advance, Paul |

Thanks in advance, Paul Iris are from a bulb and are meant to stop flowering and die off about this time, it should be safe enough to cut them off if the flowers have faded, and they will come back next year again. |
