How deep to sink fence posts next to ditch
Hi,
I have a question about fence posts. I have to replace a 3 foot high panel fence which has garden on one side, and the "outside" of the fence then slopes down at about 45 degrees to a drainage ditch. Does anyne have any suggestions as to how deep to sink the fence posts, given that there is less support on the ditch side than there would normally be? Thanks, Andy Juniper |

Depends on how far from the edge of the ditch your post will be. If the
post is less than three/four feet from the beginning of the dropoff you have to go at least a foot below the bottom of the ditch. Andy Juniper wrote in message om...
