Default cordyline question

when a cordyline flowers,the huge flowers have benn on for about 4 months
now.
Can i just cut them off,and if i do,will it flower next year?
As you can see i am very new to gardening.......

Yes you can just cut the flower head off, usually by now the Starlings have
eaten all the fruit anyway.
And yes, once it has started to flower it will do so every year with more
and more flower heads. If it's the first flower then the plant will now
start to branch at the top to form a good head.
