Has anybody got a cure for hollyhock rust please? I grew the plants

I know there are fungicides that will stop rust on roses. You might ask
at your local garden center if any of those fungicides will also work on
hollyhocks. Be careful. Not all rusts are the same.
I tried hollyhocks from seed. I even get two that bloomed. However,
the tortose that wanders in my garden walked up to each plant and kept
walking, knocking the plant down. She then turn around and started
eating the flowers and the tender tip of the shoot. She eliminated five
of my six thrift (sea pinks). So far, she ignores the foxglove and
columbine.
