A few weeks ago they stopped taking the food I put out so I stopped

I would like the hedgehogs to find breakfast ready for them but how can
I tell when they are out and about? The only sign is usually the
exchange of food for some stools.

PS This is in Cheltenham. Perhaps someone local has some more visible
hedgehogs.

I thought they hibernated through the winter. More here

The trouble is in "when you notice hedgehog activity" as the only time I
see any activity is when they come for food, so a bit circular.

Could someone who does see hedgehog activity in roughly this area post
when they see hedgehogs are active again, please?
