Without any reasonable doubt TE's are caused by transmission of prions
from one animal to another.

The origin of BSE is unknown and there aren't very convincing pointers

macinations of corporate capitalists, or the despicable actions of
corrupt politicians.

If people had to face up to this generally then a lot of sad and
inadequate people would suddenly have to face up to the fact that sh*t
happens and you cannot keep blaming your parents all your life.

Much more comforting to believe that it is all "their" fault and that
"they" are out there plotting against the small folk, holding them back.
