Grown a lot in Ireland.
Useful as hedging but not very interesting!
Google for it. Plenty of entries.

More interesting if grown as tapestry planting - a variegated one then a
plain one, then a variegated one and so on. Excellent hedging in seaside
areas as it's salt-tolerant.
