I split and wrapped a piece of plastic pipe around the pole. The raccoons
can't get a grip and just slide down it. If u don't have pipe get one of
those plastic covers for a shower curtain rod. They are cheap and work
great. Or get one of those protectors the phone company wraps around their
cables that go on the guide lines. Any smooth piece of plastic will
work.......But soft rubber lets them grip on and thus getting to the
feeders.......
