Default Finding a wasp's nest

In the last 4 days the daytime temperature has shot up into the upper 70's.
3 days ago we started finding wasps buzzing against our south facing kitchen
window....the first day there were 4, then yesterday 6 more and today
another 6...we've never had problems with wasps, even in the summer when it
hits the 90's...we have looked everywhere in the kitchen and all along the
exterior side of the wall but we can't find a nest...friends suggested that
wasps can get into the wall through tiny holes, but we have spent a half
hour this afternoon just looking for any signs of wasps entering or exiting
and we haven't found anthing.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to find the source of the wasps?

We've noticed a few things...the wasps are all full size, they seem
"doped-up" and un-aggressive (thankfully!!!)...it's like they are half dead
by the time we notice them....also they appear midway through the afternoon,
although I caught one late last night...I'd like to find the source so we
could know the scope of the problem, then figure out what to do. Advice
from anyone whose been down this road already would be appreciated!

Michael.
