Clearly stating something as an opinion, however, is not against the
law. "it screams 'Snake Oil' to me" is an opinion. "This is snake oil"
is slander.

And even if you are in the right, its worth going thru two or three
years of hell. Sure.

The recent events regarding Novak's lawsuits might make a potential
plaintiff think twice.
