Default lifting paving slab

My patio is made up with 2ft slabs on a dry mix of sand and cement. One of
the slabs has dropped slightly at one end.
Is there a way to lift and build up the slab without a major operation or
damaging the slabs.

If the slab is away from an open edge it can be lifted. Is the patio
pointed or butt joined? If pointed, rake out the joints all round and
leaver the slab upward using flat leavers (tough paint scrapers, cold
chisels etc). If the patio is butt jointed it is not so easy. Your local
hire centre will have a special lifter available. It was designed by an
Irishman and uses fine points to grip the slab. The guys there will give
you instructions.
Hope that helps,
