Default land rationalization as per plants Currants love South Dakota soil

Now what I am thinking of here is a overall mapping biologically and
agriculturally of the entire world as to optimum growing of plants and
trees.

Case in point is eastern white pine and currants. Both are commercial
plants but both are affected by blister rust. So what I am saying is that
in the future we mapp the entire world for agriculture and we realize that
SouthDakota has few if any white pine or 5 needle pines. But the soil in
eastern SouthDakota is perfect for currants provided they get ample water
in summer. So my view is that if all currants were grown in the USA and
only in South Dakota then that would reduce the pressure of the disease of
blister rust.

In a sense I am calling for a rationalization of all the land in the world
as to the growing of plants.

Another industry is that of cedar trees and apple trees with rust. So that
we find where in the USA apples love the soil and conditions and we say no
cedar trees there.

Not only a Rationalization in terms of diseases and soil ph but a
rationalization in terms of petroleum inputs of operating heavy equipment
of tractors etc and fertilizer and herbicides etc etc so that some places
where agriculture costs much more in petrol inputs than in other places.
For example, if it costs 10 gallons of petrol to grow corn in one place and
only 1 gallon of petrol to grow the same amount of corn in another place,
then those facts need be disseminated and broadcast.
