We have 2 3'-4' sunflowers that we've grown through the year since

daughter bought them home from school.
We've nurtured them, placed them in larger and ever larger pots, and

them grow to full bloom. But now the flowers are wilting (if that's

right word?) and my wife is not sure what we should do next?

They will die off as winter approaches.
You can leave the heads on for the birds - they love the seeds :~)
Plant new ones next year.
