We have a butyl liner (about 4 years old) and my suspicion is that it got
damaged/pierced in the ice and permafrost of winter 2000/01 cos now the
water sits about 10cm low on an almost permanent basis - even a couple of
hours after the flash floods we've had this 'summer'. The 'other half'
seems to think that there's a product on the market that is dye-like but
forms a concentration of colour at the leak - but has conveniently

forgotten
what it's called. I can't seem to track it down. Has anyone out there
heard of this product?
