This sooooo doesn't sound like a cat.... My Mainecoon who is huge and plays
fetch with tissues will carry a wadded up paper tissue around or a very
light plastic ball but that is about as heavy as it gets. I can't in my
wildest imagination see a cat carrying off 2 rubber duckies across the lawn
for the fun of it. Possums wouldn't bother with such nonsense. Raccoons on
the other hand would find it entertaining but they would leave things quite
a mess. What exactly do you mean when you say that nothing on top looked
moved or changed when at the same time you describe rubber duckies being
scattered, a plant being ruined, rocks knocked over.... It sounds like
raccoons. Sorry to butt in during the middle of the thread. I don't know
what your set up is (netting over a small pond perhaps?)

sure the taste wasnt very good if they ate it... oh well.. the good news
is
spring is almost here and i'm working on my plans enlarge and deepen the
pond... get rid of the pre-formed tub and dig straight-walls so there is
no
ledge if something gets in there that it can step on... good night all
