Default Coronation oaks

The message . com
from "Grant Menzies" contains these words:

Thanks, Jenny! This book would be a good place to start.

Say - does anyone out there know why there is a tree in Windsor Great
Park called the Coronation Oak?

Windsor (Castle, and estate, of which the Great Park is part) is the
Queen's home. The Royal family have an ancient tradition of planting
trees to commemorate coronations.
