Default Book....

Not only do I have it but we (the London Orchid Society_ bought a copy
for our club library.
The club copy gets a lot of use. I don't see many people changing
their way of growing but it does make very interesting reading.

I would say that it is worth the price (although it is not the
cheapest book around). It does go into a lot of detail with a lot of
charts that make it pretty clear how to grow that way.
I am not an expert in soilless Culture (or I wouldn't need to buy the
book in the first place) but I do have a Biology degree and have spent
my share of time in school chemistry labs. Based on that background I
think the content is pretty accurate. At least I didn't see any
glaring errors pop up when I was reading it.

Mind you, I hear Ray has some pretty good instructions on his website
for doing the same thing and they don't cost anything.

I would definately recommend it as a book for a club library.
I am also happy that I spent the money on it because even though my
wife and I do not grow that way, we find it interesting to read about
alternatives.
