Default yucca plants---will they grow or survive if planted outdoors?

It all depends on which Yucca it is you allude.

The common Yucca flaccida/Yucca filamentosa cultivars will not only survive,
they will form clumps so deep rooted you will never be able to eradicate
them.

The shrubby Yucca gloriosa, Y.recurvifolia and Y.aloifolia should also do
well.

The tropical Yucca elephantipes you can forget growing outdoor for long in
Georgia.
