What to grow in crap half of veg plot
The message

I am a newbie to veggies. : /
OK I have dug and dug half of my veg plot until it looks so much like
breadcrumbs that I am tempted to bake it in the oven at gasmark 4 and make
scones.
So anyway, that's sorted for my beans but now I'm WAY to knackered to do the
same for the rest of the plot, so what can I grow in it that will just
require basic digging over and no compost? I suppose it's about 10 feet by
8 feet.
Advice welcome as I am a complete veg buffoon and bored of digging already.
You could put your potatoes in the undug half; also a rhubarb plant
(if you like it), and some comfrey which you will later use to make a
liquid fertiliser. The last two will be permanent plantings.
