No, it's not the nom de plume. Its the address that is munged. You
can call yourself by a real or imagined name but if you alter your
addy so you won't get a direct response to you and the reply is
bounced to the sender, then that is "munging".
Stops spam harvesters and thus a consequential inbox full of spam.
