Seems that very high levels of NO3 from KNO3 would be required to harm
fish but very very small amounts of NH4.
So is providing more fish a better way to add N vs KNO3?
I think the limited oxygen exchange capacity and high oxygen demand of
planted tanks at night is an even better argument for using KNO3 for
nitrogen-hungry plants rather than overstocking.
