Hi Jerri, I believe the bowl lotus is probably different from a teacup. I'm
not possitive though. The bowl lotus is supposed to have a leaf span of
about 9". They are supposed to be easy to grow and hardy to zone 5. From
what I have learned they originated in China and got their name because they
are small enough to be grown in bowls. I have been told that they can be
grown well in a 10" pot. This is my first attempt at lotus and I was trying
to gather as much info as possible to make sure I do a good job.

I am soon to receive a bowl lotus. Has anyone here had any experience
with
this type of lotus?
I have not heard of bowl lotus....Is it the same as teacup lotus ....a
VERY
small lotus? If so I am told they are extremely diffacult to grow.
