Default Calla albomaculata

Zantedeschia albo-maculata belongs to that frustrating group of
'Callas', that do not appreciate winter wet while they are dormant.
It needs a cool, but not cold, dry rest and is more successful if
allowed to overwinter in the container, kept dry and not disturbed
until early spring. The tuber(s) can then be 'woken-up' by placing it
in very lightly moist, fresh compost and maintained at temps. above
20C. Over-watering is a great problem in the early days so take it
easy until the first couple of leaves are fully expanded. The only
Zantedeschia capable of withstanding a typical wet, UK winter without
any set backs is the very familiar Z. aethiopica.
