Default painting my shed

Hi All

I had a shed built in my garden about six months ago and now want to
paint it. Anyone have any recommendations as to what is the best to
use. I am a bit confused with timbercare, paints and stains?

Kind regards
Coco

For wood I would always go for a product that soaks in rather than a
conventional paint which forms a skin as the first needs no preparation
when it requires another coat in the future - hate painting me and never
do the preparation properly, result it always needs doing more often!
There are loads of products now in a range of colours that are basically
coloured wood preservers, some by the look of the TV ads are sprayable
