Default Cutting the dross

Has anyone noticed the great reluctance to snip postings to just the
relevant remarks?

Never. People prefer to keep the whole message so that the meaning
is not changed or manipulated.

It seems that some people are incapable of cutting all but the important
bits, the bits they are replying to.

You can also ignore messages or delete them. No one forces you to read
anything.

Why?

Why what? See how moving words or deleting others can change a
message!

Lack of newsgroup or forum education?

There is no such thing. Don't confuse a forum and a newsgroup.

Possibly not knowing how to do it!!!!!

Do what?

All to keen to shove fingers to keyboard and poke out a one line reply, but
not too keen on what the person thinks about the dross they have to scroll
down through :-((

You idiot! You talk about education and don't even know when to use
"TO" and "TOO" correctly.

You look and see what I mean.

That dos not make any sense.

See if I am not correct....

correct about what?

......once again :-((

You sound like a confused pensioner, the type that drives a Nissan Micra.

Kindest regards

Mike
