hello,i'm new to this forum.i've been growing squashes for the past

but how can increase productivity.i get three to four squashes per
plant.cheers,lee

That's a typical yeild per plant for those winter squashes.

You can get more squash per plant with some types of small winter
squash of the species Cucurbita pepo, but with butternut (C. moschata)
and Hubbards (C. maxima) three or four is a pretty good average.

Squash vines tend to set a fruit to whatever point they can support,
then abort any further fruit in favor of maturing the fruit they have
already set. How many they set depends not only on species and
cultivar but also on growing conditions in any particular season.
