The MD and Gardeners world thread is on about peat free compost.
A number of local authorities now stipulate that plants they buy must be
grown in peat free compost.
With the RHS Peat accounts for less than 0.7 per cent of all growing
media and soil conditioners that the charity uses in its gardens.
At its flower shows it bans the use of peat for staging, and discourages
the use for growing with it's exhibitors.
