Default Identify exotic flower please

Could anyone please identify this flower we were handed at the Ideal Home exhibition. Attractive as it may be, it really, really smells strong of mouldy cheese and urine!

We were told to wait until it flowers, which since it has opened is presumably now, then plant it in soil so it flowers again in time.

Any help appreciated.
Thank you.
