'burns' from plants
 

Anyone got any idea what plants might be causing 'burns' on my hands/arms which blister after about 24 hours. It's the 2nd time it's happened, and I thought I knew which plant it was...but I haven't been near it this time!

you haven't given a whole lot to go on terry but one possibility is Rue.

Just a thought but what gardening gloves etc are you using, It sounds a bit like an allergy, perhaps latex (common antigen)

have you had similar before, anywhere else?

Do you have a history of eczema/asthma etc

What do mean by a "burn"....does it happen immediately, does it itch, is it painful...

burns can be caused by milky sap plants such as spurges which are common herbs and shrubs. There is this specie called Blind-Your-Eye Mangrove, and its sap causes blistering of skin upon contact.

Just joined up and read your question, I believe that Monkshood can burn the skin. I think I read that you should wear gloves when handling it.
