historical forests

I may be in the wrong group, but can any of you help me? I am trying to find
a map showing how much of England was forested in about the year 1300. Any
ideas?

Yep, you are in the wrong group. Try soc.history.moderated. Historians
spend a lot of time drawing maps like that.
