Propogating a Philladendron

What would be the best way to go about propogating a mature philadendron?
Can I just take a leaf/stem cutting and put it in the ground? Both will be
outdoors.

Hi fellow gardners.
I am taking over an old established orchard of about 6 acres and know
little about such things, although I am brimming with enthusiasm. Seen a
few things on the box showing methods of pruning etc and had a bit of a
go on some plum trees. There are some real ancient varieties that I
would like to restore to production.
Is this the right group to be asking such questions ?

Hi Darren
good luck with the orchard.
we had many fruit trees when I was young.
my pop would prune them right back every few years.
they always did better after a good prune and a bit of fertiliser.
cheers
Nancy
