long pods from trees in qld
i was in coolum a few months ago and there were many smallish trees with
large, long, dark brown pods. i never found out what the trees were, and i've just thought to ask here! they were about 30-40cm long, and maybe 4-5 cm across, flattish pods. just curious. thanks if anyone knows. |

Could be Delonix regia or more commonly known as the Poinciana. Another long
pod is the Cerotonia siliqua or common name carob tree. Do a image search on google.com will show something.
