tree id pls

Hi everyone,
Hoping I might get some help to id a tree that has sprung up in my garden,
probably from the compost. It has a leaf that I can't decide is like a peach
or nectarine, a willow, or an almond. It probably grew from a pip or seed
and could possibly be any of the three as I have them in the yard. The
distinguishing thing is that the crushed leaves smell strongly of marzipan/
almond - the only thing is the leaves of the existing almond trees I have
don't have the same smell. I will probably wait and see anyway but maybe
someone knows the smell and can help...
love and peace

if anyone else was even vaguely interested, it's probably a peach,
