Looking for a Companion Planting Reference guide

The book I use, is simply called
Companion Planting by Richard Bird.
It is first published in Australasia in 1991 by Simon & Schuster Australia
20 Barcoo Street, East Roseville NSW.

Its an excellent book, I would highly recommend it.
However, in saying it is an excellent book, companion planting is still
about trial and error to some degree. One year you may plant a lot of sage
near your cabbages, to deter moths, but still find your cabbages get eaten.
The next year you plant something else, and find that the cabbages get eaten
even more. Thus maybe the sage did work. That's companion planting. Lots of
general observations and note taking.

But the book is an excellent starting point, and i still refer to it.
